More than fifteen years ago, travel simply came with the job. What began with long drives, airports, packed work schedules, and business trips gradually became a passion for discovering new destinations, local culture, hidden gems, and experiences beyond the itinerary.
Along the way, Maegan learned how to navigate business travel, plan better trips, make the most of loyalty programs, and find places that rarely make it into a typical guidebook. Traveling Bee grew from those experiences, bringing together firsthand destination guides, practical travel tips, business travel insights, and stories from the road to help others travel with greater confidence, curiosity, and purpose.

Hi, I’m Maegan.
Traveling Bee didn’t begin with a dream of becoming a travel creator. It began with a career that kept sending me to places I never expected to visit. Over time, those business trips became something I genuinely looked forward to, not because of the meetings, but because of everything waiting beyond them.
I found myself arriving a little earlier, staying a little longer, and venturing beyond the usual business districts. Some of my favorite memories came from quiet neighborhoods, local cafés, hidden museums, and places rarely found in a typical guidebook. Those moments changed the way I traveled and taught me to look beyond the obvious.
That shift in perspective inspired Traveling Bee. I wanted a place to share the destinations I’ve visited, along with the practical tips, lessons, local discoveries, and stories I’ve gathered along the way.
Today, Traveling Bee reflects more than 15 years of firsthand experience, from business trips and destination exploration to the small discoveries that make a journey memorable.
